Sr. FrontEnd Developer- AI team

Vimeo is looking for a Sr. Front-End Developer to join our AI Applications team.

The AI applications team is working as an end-to-end value stream function, delivering product solutions from the very beginning of an idea towards the final user experience, where the main expertise is around products that require AI abilities.
As a Front-End Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Vimeo's AI-based user experiences on a variety of destinations on the Vimeo platform. You will be a part of a multidisciplinary team of AI researchers, data scientists and Machine learning (ML) Engineers, you will work with the most recent AI tools and abilities in the industry and will take a key role in shaping how those will make an impact on Vimeo customers.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the design and back-end teams to develop and implement new front-end features for Vimeo's platform.


• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code for front-end features, and actively participate in code reviews and quality assurance processes.


• Work closely with the back-end team to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of front-end features.


• Continuously research and explore new front-end technologies, tools, and techniques to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in web development.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a Front-End developer, with proficiency in React, Redux, and related libraries and tools.


• Understanding of web development best practices, including performance optimization, accessibility, and responsive design.


• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and experience with modern front-end frameworks and libraries.


• Experience with RESTful API and JSON.


• Great communication skills and a proven record of working across disciplines.

Bonus Points :

• Familiarity with Back end development (PHP, Python).


• Experience with video services.


• Passion for AI applications.
