Job Summary

The Sr. HR Operations Specialist is a key resource for managing and delivering accurate, timely reporting solutions across various HR systems, including Workday, Jira, Power BI, Culture Amp, Lever, and ADP. This role involves creating and maintaining dashboards, managing report schedules, and pulling data for executive management and board materials. The analyst will serve as an expert in Workday reporting while learning and leveraging other systems as needed. Additionally, the role will provide guidance on reporting best practices, contribute to process documentation, and ensure data accuracy. As a trusted partner in HR projects, the analyst will collaborate with stakeholders to define data requirements and support the HR Project Manager in delivering project outcomes aligned with organizational goals.

Job Description

Reporting Development & Maintenance
•Create, maintain, and optimize reports and dashboards in Workday and other HR systems, ensuring accurate and timely data delivery.
•Manage scheduled reporting and ad-hoc requests for stakeholders, including executive management and board members.
•Pull and integrate data from multiple sources (e.g., Jira, Power BI, Culture Amp, Lever, ADP) to meet organizational needs.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Guidance
•Partner with HR leadership and cross-functional teams to refine reporting needs and deliver actionable data.
•Provide training and coaching to junior team members or HR partners on reporting tools and techniques.
•Act as a trusted advisor for reporting best practices, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
•Collaborate on projects to define stakeholder data requirements, providing expertise on reporting capabilities and potential enhancements.

Project Participation & Support
•Participate in HR-related projects, offering guidance on data requirements and reporting development.
•Support the HR Project Manager by assisting with reporting tasks, system updates, or data updates needed for successful project outcomes.

Process & Documentation Ownership
•Develop and maintain SOPs for reporting processes, ensuring clear documentation for consistency and scalability.
•Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy and compliance with internal standards.


Qualifications/ Required
Knowledge/ Experience and Skills:
•5+ years in HR reporting or related roles, with proven expertise in Workday reporting.
•Proficiency in Workday reporting is required; familiarity with other systems (Jira, Power BI, Culture Amp, Lever, ADP) is a plus, with a willingness to learn.
•Strong Excel skills, including advanced functions (e.g., vlookup, pivot tables, conditional statements), and proficiency in MS Word and PowerPoint.
•Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to develop clear reporting solutions tailored to organizational needs.
•Demonstrated ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership.
•Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize competing deadlines in a dynamic environment.
•Clear and effective written and verbal communication, with the ability to convey technical details to non-technical audiences.
•Experience developing and maintaining SOPs and process documentation.
•Enthusiastic about continuous learning and skill enhancement, particularly in HR systems and reporting methodologies.

Educational Qualifications
•Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required
•Workday Reporting certification preferred
