Job Description

Your Career

Palo Alto Networks is seeking an experienced finance professional to join our team as a Senior Manager, Strategic Finance. You will play a crucial role in our long-range planning process, working closely with the Director of Strategic Finance to ensure we have a granular and actionable plan that is foundational for our finance organization and the broader company. This is a high-impact role that requires strong analytical skills, an ability to creatively drive solutions, and partner with key stakeholders across the company.

Your Impact

• Work as a key member of the Corporate Finance team, supporting the creation of the long-range plan and the cross-functional processes that form our long-term growth strategy, investment and resource allocation decisions, and efficiency targets 
• Build the LRP master model for P&L and FCF - Incorporate key assumptions in the model with both historical trend and long term projections that are based on market, product, GTM business drivers and scenarios - Conduct market research and peer analysis. Provide actionable insights and recommendations for key planning decisions
• Build effective partnerships with key stakeholders and organizations in interlock process and throughout planning and execution stages
• Coordinate with other corporate teams to ensure the handoff of LRP into monthly forecasts and reporting processes
• Own the planning calendar and tracker - Support the end-to-end processes and communications, and ensure execution
• Participate in cross functional data and automation projects

Qualifications

Your Experience 

• Bachelor's degree in Economics/Finance, MBA preferred or equivalent military experience 
• 5+ years of experience in finance, with a track record of high performance and ability to work effectively in a team 
• Excellent analytical and financial modeling skills with a mix of top-line and cost analysis 
• Ability to prioritize, adapt to changes, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively 
• Team player, self-motivated, proactive, organized, positive attitude 
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and FP&A-oriented software offerings - Experience with financial systems including SAP and data visualization tools, including Tableau 
• Strong market research skills and industry experience is a plus

Compensation Disclosure

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $151000 - $244000/YR. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found here.
