All about the role:

The Sr. ProductManager - Wall Ovens & Cooktops is an experienced and skilful productleader within Electrolux Major Appliances, who will successfully lead theproduct line management, business strategy, and business execution of wall ovenand cooktop categories. Each of these product categories are strategic, growthareas and are manufactured at internal factories around the world.

You will beresponsible for developing, communicating, and gaining organizational alignmenton the Product Road Map, identifying specific products and feature levels foreach, individual, related cooking product over a five-year planning cycle. Inaddition, you will be responsible for the strategic planning, annual planningof this business, as well as the execution of these plans.

What you'll do:

• You'll be the Electrolux's "resident" expert on:
  • Wall Oven (24", 27", and 30") cooking products.
  • Cooktop (24", 30", 36") cooking products.

• Be the key driver in the strategic product plan for each cooking product line.
• As with generation planning and competitive benchmarking you will be a key driver in the strategic product plan for the wall oven and cooktop businesses.
• This role will work collaboratively with the Product Planning and Innovation Manager and assume a strong, effective leadership role in the effective delivery of industry relevant and leading innovations in all product category projects. You will assume the key leadership role in driving technology direction and engineering activity for these cooking products.
• You will be working with R&D, Design, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Suppliers to drive cost efficiency and simplification across the business.
• You will help to ensure that new product launches have business cases that contribute to the business strategy, are delivered to the marketplace on time and at the cost targets in the product plan.
• You will also ensure that proper plans are in place and being executed for phase in/flooring of new product and phasing out of old product.
• The role aids in the development of strong working relationships with cross BA, purchasing, operations, sales, legal, engineering, and marketing counterparts and peers.

Qualificationsrequired:

• A four-year college degree, or equivalent level of degree, is required. MBA is referred.
• 7 years minimum experience with finished goods sourcing from a global supply base as well as product planning and project management activities, including generation planning, pricing analysis, project management, etc.
• Experience with merchandising principles, financial analysis, cost accounting principles, sales of consumer durables within the homebuilder and retail channels.
