JOB SUMMARY:
We're looking for a Senior Brand Strategist to define and refine brand and communication strategies across our roster of amazing clients. This role requires someone who knows how to consistently uncovers consumer, cultural and media insights that inform the strategic and creative process.
They will understand how to identify trends that drive consumer behavior and affect the way brands communicate - always living at the intersection of brands, culture, and creativity. Ideally, you're a great storyteller that creates powerful, unexpected, and insightful briefs to bridge creative, technology and media.

This role can be remote or a part of our Chicago or Detroit offices.
*While our offices are currently open, daily in-office attendance is not required.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead in the development of inspiring insights, provocative strategy and creative briefs
- Lead in putting together brand and communication strategies rooted in business objectives, consumer insights, competitive and the cultural landscape
- Develop integrated experience plans that drive customer acquisition, conversion, and retention
- Provide thought leadership around customer experience and strategy in a collaborative, cross-functional environment
- Leverage a breadth of experience in business strategy, customer insight, market insight, design, business analysis, and technology into actionable strategy and execution-the role is that of an integrator of different perspectives from across a team
- Start client-facing decks from scratch and present to clients
- Craft insights that are actionable and provide a unique point-of-view
- Develop and run client workshops, presentations and working sessions
- Recommend and implement research, listening methodologies and data hacking to gain insights that address client business issues
- Build trusted relationships with clients and colleagues, as a strategic advisor, to help them understand how to grow brands through marketing channels and experiences
- Nurture and mentor less senior strategists to grow the Fusion92 strategy practice
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:
- 5-7 years in agency environment
- 5-7 years of brand and/or communications strategy experience
- Strategic skills: strong strategic thinker, search for insights, and shepherd strategic idea
- Established research skills: qualitative and quantitative research and analytical acumen
- Superior communications skills: writes clear and persuasive points-of-view and presentations
- Proven ability to successfully work with and guide senior-level clients and internal teams
- Passionate about innovation and creativity
