Job Description
WellSky is seeking a Sr. Collections Specialist to join our World Headquarters team. This position is responsible assisting Collections staff in order to maximize the Company's value through optimizing cash flow via the prompt collection of clients’ accounts receivable. This is to be accomplished in a capable, business like and timely manner while, in the process, resolving any matters of dispute. This position requires a high level of research, negotiation, critical thinking skills. This position requires the ability to maintain a laser-like focus amidst a high energy, rapid growth environment.
A day in the life!Â
You will be responsible for the following:
- Management of a fluid portfolio of balances at various stages of delinquency.
- Direct contact with clients via phone and or email.
- Fact finding in order to surface, identify, and drive issues toward resolution.
- Working with a variety of teammates and stakeholders throughout the organization to resolve complex issues impeding payment.
- Collaborating with teammates to continually refine and improve processes and procedures.
- Providing a superior level of service to ALL customers (internal and external)!
Do you have what it takes?
Required Experience:
- Minimum five (5) years of professional experience in Consumer or Commercial Collections, Sales, or Customer Service in lead or senior role.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills in the context of a professional setting.
- Advanced skip-tracking, online research, and/or research skills.
- Fully competent in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, OneNote, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, etc).
- Team oriented. Proven ability to work collaboratively, providing direction to and receiving feedback from peers and manager to resolve internal and external client issues.
Do you stand above the rest?
Preferred Experience:
- Familiarity with cloud-based ERPs (Oracle, SalesForce, etc).
- Collections experience with SAAS, particularly in Healthcare Technology sector.
- Previous experience within a professional service firm.
- Adaptable and flexible with the ability to accept, create and manage change.
