Job Description
Reporting to the Senior Director, Consumer and Marketplace Insights, you will be help build a strong insights foundation for Vuori by overseeing the development, implementation, and education of different insights workstreams. You will be a consumer advocate, ensuring the voice of the consumer is fully represented, to help the business maximize global performance and secure the long-term health of the brand.
Qualifications
What you'll get to do:Ā
- Monitor and evaluate competitive landscape, industry trends, and shifts in consumer behavior to provide strategic recommendations and identify new opportunities for growth
- Develop, manage, and embed key foundational tools such as brand equity tracking, shopper journey studies, consumer focus groups/immersions from conception to completion to create data-driven and actionable insights
- Build upon our consumer segmentation, bringing segments to life and embedding learnings across various functions to drive commercial output
- Serve as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, presenting findings in a clear and compelling manner and providing insights that guide business strategies in marketing and other functions (e.g. merchandising, retail, etc.)
- Identify opportunities to integrate new and existing data sources into cohesive insights that enable consumer centricity and support short and long-range planning
- Foster a consumer-centric culture by identifying new opportunities to embed or enhance consumer and marketplace insights within the Go-To-Market (GTM) process
Who you are:Ā
- 10+ years in managing and developing consumer insights to inform strategic and tactical business decisions
- Demonstrated experience in designing and leveraging a range of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies with minimal supervision
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Deep intellectual curiosity, creativity, and a passion for problem-solving
- Strong commitment to understanding and serving the Vuori consumer
- Excellent Analytical skills and strategic mindset
- Ability to present insights with confidence and objectively represent the consumer in meetings with business partners
- Strong interpersonal skills, including a positive, cooperative attitude - both inside and outside the department
- Experienced in managing and partnering with multiple research suppliers
- Demonstrated prior experience with trend identification
- Proven experience with global research and Go-To-Market (GTM) integration
- Comfortable working independently as well as with dynamic cross-functional teams
- Must be able to time manage effectively, be flexible, and juggle multiple projects and priorities

The salary range for this role is $155,000 per year - $175,000 per year. This role is bonus eligible.Ā
