Job Description
General responsibilities include reporting unit financial analysis supporting the business strategic initiatives. Customer request for quotes (RFQ's), appropriation requests, monthly financial close process including actual and forecast analysis, internal controls and audit support.

Standard Duties:
- Perform month-end and year-end requirements, including preparing journal entries and other month-end deliverables
- This position works closely with both the Finance and GSM team in the Plant and Business Unit
- Accountable for timely and accurate month-end closing and forecasting.
- Work with purchasing team to input and review the GSM supplier cost reduction tracking system, for new part numbers, price changes, new vendors and other updates to the database
- Work closely with the operations leadership providing financial business partnerships
- Management of the supplier commodity pricing database and integration supplier database
- Perform monthly account reconciliations
- Perform customer pricing analysis to ensure accurate and timely pricing
- Monthly reporting of supplier savings and commodity pricing
- Assist with ad hoc financial projects as requested
- Other activities - Assists with various ad hoc project work, reporting and other tasks as necessary
- Monthly forecast, analysis and earnings call reporting
- Product costing and standard costing roll
- Annual Budget/LRP
- Other duties as assigned
Additional Information and/or Requirements:
- Travel is occasionally required, up to 5% of the time.
- Must be able to work in a team environment
- Must be highly driven/self-starter
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be detail oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Must have ability to work extended hours when necessary specifically during month-end, quarter-end and budget/LRP time.
Safety and Physical Requirements:
- All employees are responsible for knowing, understanding and complying with the safety policies and procedures.
- Wear PPE when appropriate in designated campus areas.
- Lifting shoulder high up to 35 lbs. on occasion.

Education & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance required
- 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance preferred (including internships)
- SAP experience preferred
- Strong Excel skills including VLOOKUP's, pivot tables, etc.
- HFM experience preferred
