The Senior Financial Analyst will play a critical role in supporting strategic decision-making and driving financial performance across the organization. The position will directly partner with business leaders to design and develop costing/profitability models and reports. Will directly provide specialized financial consulting and analytical support, identifying key emerging financial trends, measurement of key performance metrics and success factors, capital budget and key initiative evaluation and planning, cost analyses and customized reporting.
Provide a full spectrum of complex financial analyses including non-routine financial and economic risk analyses. Develop, maintain, and explain financial analysis results and models. Apply critical thinking to rationalize and explain the analysis results. Develop new and better analytics approaches to solve questions in a creative way.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to tell stories with data, communicate effectively and instill confidence in recommendations to motivate stakeholder action.

Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning and Decision Support:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate strategic initiatives, investment opportunities, and potential risks.
- Conduct scenario analysis and sensitivity testing to assess the impact of various strategic decisions on financial performance.
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior management to support long-term growth objectives.
- Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A):
- Provide insightful analysis of financial performance, identifying trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Partner with business leaders to develop financial strategies that support company goals and objectives.
- Financial Reporting and Analysis:
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support decision-making and drive business performance.
- Present financial results and recommendations to senior management in a clear and concise manner.
- Forecasting and Budgeting:
- Develop accurate financial forecasts and budgets based on historical data, market trends, and business drivers.
- Monitor actual performance against budget and forecast, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions as needed.
- Continuously refine forecasting methodologies and models to improve accuracy and effectiveness.
- Financial Modeling and Analysis:
- Build and maintain complex financial models to support strategic planning, investment analysis, and capital allocation.
- Conduct detailed analysis of financial data, including revenue projections, cost structures, and profitability metrics.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to streamline financial reporting and analysis.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- Expert-level knowledge of Accounting and Finance principles.
- Strong analytical, financial modeling and problem-solving skills
- Advanced (expert level) skills in MS Excel (including Macros, VBA, and complex formulas)
- Power BI skills preferred
- Fluency with analyzing and interpreting financial statements
- Excellent verbal and written communication, listening and organizational skills.
- Effective time management skills including the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
- Ability to work independently with the self-motivation to accomplish goals.
- Ability to manage communication with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to research issues and identify solutions to complex problems.

Compensation: Aya reasonably anticipates the pay scale for this position to be an annual salary of $100,000 to $125,000.
The pay scale for this position may vary if applicant possesses experience outside of what Aya reasonably anticipates for this position. Bonuses are subject to the role and your manager’s discretion.
