Our team offers a multitude of services to our clients including photography, videography, web design, packaging design, animation, and graphic design; Both digital & print materials in branding, advertising assets, promotional materials, presentations, exhibition/expo related design, social media contents and much more. We are based in NJ, USA and work with many talents around the world.

Job Summary

cLABS is currently seeking a highly experienced Sr. Designer with 5+ years’ experience in visual design and art direction (digital and print), passionate and creative-minded, who will join a fast-paced, multi-tasking design studio located in NJ. (Company operated shuttle bus runs daily between Penn Station in Manhattan and Mahwah office for smoother commute).

The Designer is responsible for delivering high-quality visual content from innovative concept creation to finished product on various projects. This critical role will work closely with the Creative team of designers, photographers, videographers and freelancers, with ongoing and ad-hoc projects. One needs to be a team-player, being the liaison between various teams and clients. This role will also work with our affiliated brands' teams. This position will report to the President.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for concept creation to completion of the project at a high quality and delivering in time.
• Create and design various materials for print and digital collateral: Some example of projects are packaging design, brand identity, graphics for social media, video production and website design, presentation material, visual design for expo and event materials, marketing materials.
• Capable of working as fellow, mentor and leader to your teammates and managing freelancers.
• Project management and setting a high bar for design.
• Ability to understand the objectives and translate them into high-quality visual design.
• Communicate closely with the Creative and other internal teams, and externally with clients.
• Prioritize multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions.
• Utilize a wide range of media and a large variety of graphic design software to deliver visually appealing project.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in graphic arts, design, communications, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in design.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (or Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Figma, Sketch, and other design software).
• Familiarity in other graphic softwares are a plus.
• Website design and social media is a plus.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Team player and strategic thinker; Curious and open to listen and adapt to different business units’ needs and across all products and brands.
• The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for design, detail-oriented, a passion for digital and print marketing.
