Job Description
The Sr. Manager, ERP Deployments will develop, plan and manage the deployment scenarios for the global deployment of Nokia's ngERP program - in close coordination with the ngERP Development and Business Leads. The deployment scenarios will take into account the associated benefits, localization requirements, as well as the internal and external resource needs. Driving the deployment and adoption of the ngERP system will have a major impact on the overall program cost, as well as the extend and timing of the benefit realization. The successful deployment will require the development teams, business resources and sales teams to work closely together to ensure a smooth transition of all customer related activities - as well as secure a smooth internal transition.
The Next Generation ERP (ngERP) program will implement and deploy a harmonized ERP solution for the totality of Nokia Networks, globally and across all 5 supply chain segments (Product; Software; Solution; Project and Services). The design of Nokia's ngERP system will implement the process design of Finance Core and Supply Chain Transformation - and enable us to replace and finally decommission Nokia's legacy ERP systems (Blue Planet; P20 and QTC).
The ngERP Business Resource manager will work closely with the Business Groups, Finance and Customer Experience Teams to understand the business impact (cost and benefits) of various alternative deployment scenarios and will drive the decisions around sequencing (functionality and geography) and pace. The Deployment manager will be accountable to secure the coordinated planning between development (including localization), testing and transition activities to drive a successful deployment. The transition activities include change management, training, resource planning, and coordination with the sales teams and customers.
The deployment planning will be critical for both the initial ngERP pilot - as well as the subsequent deployment waves to cover the global roll-out. The final step of the deployment will be the decommissioning of the existing legacy ERP systems - after the successful transition of the activities.
The ngERP Deployment Lead will be reporting to the head of the Digitization Program Director and be part of the ngERP Business Team - which also includes the ngERP Business Lead, ngERP Change Manager, and ngERP Business Resource Manager.
