Job Description
Position Summary: CoreSphere is seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer to be an integral member of a collaborative team in support of our Federal Government client. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter that can perform well independently, interact with clients professionally, and collaborate and cooperate with diverse internal and external teams. The candidate will be responsible for application analysis, design, development, testing, demonstrating, and support of a customer Salesforce application. The candidate must demonstrate progressive experience in the full life cycle of the software development environment with experience in agile development. We are looking to hire an experienced Salesforce developer who has successfully implemented and maintained Salesforce custom applications. Critical to this role is someone with proven leadership experience, excellent oral and written communication skills, top-notch analytical skills, and excellent time management skills.Â
Note: Candidate must be authorized to work in the United States and able to pass a Federal Government background check.Â
Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, support and maintain custom applications built on the Salesforce platform using Visualforce/Apex, Aura/Lightning Web Components, JavaScript libraries, SOQL/SOSL, HTML, and CSS.
- Review, research, analyze, design, and develop new features and enhancements as well troubleshoot issues and problems requiring analysis, design, develop, test, and deploy break/fix high-quality code according to best practices and specific project requirements.
- Follow Salesforce best practices and guidelines in implementing solutions, without creating technical debt and maintaining security in the application.
- Troubleshoot, identify, and resolve issues and problems efficiently.
- Research and recommend new enhancements to improve processes through cost/time savings, improvement in quality, and more efficient maintainability.
- Demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills in resolving existing technical debt, remediating issues found via Org health checks and Org Assessment reports.
- Establish and build client and project team trust and respect through teamwork and strong client and vendor relationships.
- Research and keep current on Salesforce technologies and communicates trends and future needs from a business perspective.
- Perform system administration, configuration, and support for Salesforce.
- Perform existing O&M activities for an established Salesforce applications.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems, Finance, Business Management or related field
- 5+ years of proven experience as a Salesforce developer using Apex (triggers, classes, etc.), APIs, Lightning Message Service and Lightning Components (Aura/LWC)
- Experience developing Salesforce Service/Sales Cloud solutions.
- Experience maintaining and developing Digital Experience (community cloud)
- Strong proven experience at using Salesforce declarative tools – Lightning Flows, Process Builders, Workflows/rules, Validation rules, Approval processes, Case Management, formula fields, email services APIs
- Experience integrating with other third-party systems, mobile applications, and automated backup applications (e.g., OwnBackup), financial applications, and Roll-up Helper, Google Maps, and Salesforce Maps.
- Demonstrated expertise in working with complex data models and custom objects
- Experience working with CI/CD processes and third-party DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps, JIRA, Confluence, Git Hub, etc.) to manage source code, changes through various sub-prod environments, and deployment.
- Have a thorough understanding of the Salesforce platform and be able to interact with business users to understand requirements to translate them into design specifications
- Ability to work under tight deadlines in an Agile product development environment.
- Ability to work independently as well as work in a team environment.
- Knowledge and experience with integrating third-party AppExchange applications.
- Strong analysis and troubleshooting ability, as well as attention to detail
- Required Salesforce Certifications: Platform Developer I
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Platform Developer II
- Prior Federal Government agency consulting experience, including knowledge of ATO/FedRAMP process requirements
- Having O&M experience in Fed is a real plus.
- Salesforce Maps implementation experience
- OwnBackup experience
- Mobile application implementation experience
Security Clearance: Authorized to work in the US and able to obtain a Public Trust clearance by passing a Federal Government background check.Â
