We are looking for a Sr. System Project Manager to support our client based in Tallahassee, FL.

 The projectTECKpert seeks to hire a Sr. System Project Manager to support our client, a government agency based in Tallahassee, FL.Â
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Perform analysis of the software and hardware supporting the Florida SHOTS system as directed by the Department to ensure the system meets all written and planned expectations noted within Requisite Pro.
- Coordinate and monitor work effort and assignments towards stated objectives of Florida SHOTS test, development, analytical, and system administration staff as directed by the director of Florida SHOTS.
- Monitor compliance with and participate in response and updates to CDC IIS functional requirements, IISAR, and other grant objectives.
- Monitor performance logs and actively review system measurements. Declining system performance shall be reported to the director of Florida SHOTS. Assist with and monitor triage resolution of all system performance issues.
- Review quality assurance plans based on requirements within as directed by the Department.
- Produce work estimates and update project planning documentation to implement requirements from and manage expectations with system stakeholders daily, as assigned by the Department.
- Conduct Pilot projects and research into new technologies to support current processes and recommendations for the improvements to DOH integration processes, based on analysis and research of new technologies within Requisite Pro as directed by the Department.
- Standardize collection and storage of Division of Disease Control and Health Protection (DCHP) shared data; profile, laboratory and provide tables as assigned by the Department.
- Collaborate with DCHP information technology teams; document design and develop plans using Microsoft Word, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Project or other software, to accomplish the Master Person Index project as assigned by the Department, Health Information Exchange (HIE).
- At minimum three times weekly, meet with Florida SHOTS technical team to discuss issues that are pertinent with current development, testing, releases or possible enhancement as directed by the Department. Report status updates to director of Florida SHOTS.
This opportunity is for a full-time, 1year 5 months contract position with possible extensions. Pay varies with experience up to $85/hour or $176,800 per year. Medical, dental, vision and life insurance available after 30 days of hire.Â
Candidates are expected to work remote.Â
 Qualifications you needA successful Sr. System Project Manager possesses or provides the following:
- 10 years of experience using Requisite Pro, Clear Quest, and Clear Case.
- 10 years of experience in managing large scale IT Projects that include software analysis, design and
- programming.
- 10 years of experience tracking key projects milestones and adjusting project plans and/or resources to
- meet the needs of customers.
- 10 years of experience working with end-users and subject matter experts to document, existing
- processes and identify appropriate changes to existing processes.
- 10 years of experience with the use of Microsoft Visio, Word, and Excel.
- Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred.
- 7 years of experience assembling projects plans and teamwork assignments, directing and monitoring
- work efforts on identifying resource needs, performing quality review and timeline.
- 7 years of project management experience.
- 7 years of experience communicating project updates both orally and in written form with technical
- staff, executive management, and user staff.
- 5 years of experience using Microsoft Project to track and maintain projects.
- 5 years of experience using Cache Server Pages.
- 5 years of experience using SQL.
- 5 years of experience using Crystal Reports.
- 5 years of experience with health applications.
- 5 years of experience using the Rational Unified Process in the development environment
