Job Summary:The Sr. Talent Acquisition Advisor is a pivotal role within the organization, entrusted with crafting and executing strategies to attract, select, and retain a talented and diverse workforce. This position reports directly to the VP of Human Resources. The incumbent is charged with the crucial task of shaping recruitment processes, fortifying the organization's employer brand, and fostering collaboration with stakeholders to ensure that talent acquisition initiatives seamlessly align with the overarching business objectives.

In this role, the Sr. Talent Acquisition Advisor is responsible for envisioning and implementing a holistic talent acquisition strategy, intricately woven into the fabric of the organization's growth trajectory. This involves not only immediate hiring goals, but also long-term workforce planning, financial planning, and resource allocation aimed at achieving the strategic talent objectives of the company. 

 

As a leader, the Sr. Talent Acquisition Advisor is at the helm of all talent acquisition, steering them towards achieving recruitment goals and key performance indicators. Central to this role is the optimization of recruitment processes. The Sr. Talent Acquisition Advisor spearheads the design, refinement, and enhancement of recruitment procedures, emphasizing efficiency, candidate experience, and selection quality. By incorporating cutting-edge technology and leveraging data analytics, the director improves recruitment outcomes and underpins decision-making with valuable insights. 

 

In addition to operational excellence, employer branding and recruitment marketing constitute essential facets of the job. The Sr. Talent Acquisition Advisor diligently crafts and upholds the organization's employer brand, projecting it as an employer of choice in the competitive talent landscape. Through strategically designed recruitment marketing efforts across diverse channels, this position elevates the organization's visibility and attracts a broad and varied pool of candidates. 

 

Moreover, collaboration with stakeholders forms the bedrock of effective talent acquisition. The Sr. Talent Acquisition Advisor collaborates closely with hiring managers and department heads, gaining in-depth insights into talent requirements and aligning recruitment strategies with specific role needs and organizational goals. Cultivating strong relationships with internal stakeholders ensures a harmonized and efficient recruitment process that successfully meets the needs of various departments. 

 

Recognizing the importance of diversity and inclusion, this role integrates initiatives to promote diversity and inclusion in the hiring process, fostering a workforce that mirrors the community and market demographics. Compliance with relevant employment laws, regulations, and company policies is non-negotiable, and the director works closely with legal teams to mitigate associated risks. 

 

The Sr. Talent Acquisition Advisor holds a strategic and multifaceted position that encapsulates envisioning talent acquisition strategies, optimizing recruitment processes, championing employer branding, fostering stakeholder collaboration, and advancing diversity and inclusion efforts, all while ensuring legal and policy compliance. Through visionary leadership and effective management, this role significantly contributes to building a high-performing and diverse workforce that drives the organization toward its overarching objectives. 

 

 

Performance Outcomes 

 

Strategic Leadership and Planning  

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy aligned with organizational goals and growth objectives. 

  • Establish short-term and long-term hiring plans, budgets, and resource allocation to meet hiring targets. 

  • Monitor industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continually improve talent acquisition strategies and processes. 

  • Communicate the strategic vision for talent acquisition to the team and key stakeholders, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. 

 

Team Management and Development  

  • Provide leadership and direction to the HR Team and all hiring leaders, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring the team meets recruitment goals and KPIs. 

  • Set performance goals and objectives for the talent acquisition function, conducting regular performance evaluations and providing constructive feedback. 

  • Encourage effective communication and collaboration with hiring leaders and across the organization to achieve common goals. 

 

 

Recruitment Process Optimization and Branding  

  • Design, refine, and optimize recruitment processes to enhance efficiency, candidate experience, and selection quality. 

  • Develop and maintain the organization's employer brand to attract top talent and position the company as an employer of choice. 

  • Utilize technology (primarily Workday) and data analytics to improve recruitment outcomes and drive data-driven decision-making. 

  • Create and implement recruitment marketing strategies through various channels to increase visibility and attract a diverse pool of candidates. 

 

Collaboration and Compliance  

  • Collaborate with hiring managers and department heads to understand talent needs and align recruitment strategies with specific role requirements and organizational objectives. 

  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure a seamless and efficient recruitment process. 

  • Develop and execute strategies to enhance diversity and inclusion in the hiring process, promoting a diverse workforce reflective of the community and market. 

  • Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws, regulations, and company policies during all stages of the recruitment process. 

 

 

Education, Knowledge, and Experience 

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required. 

  • 4-8 years of relevant experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, or HR leadership roles, with a  proven track record of successful hiring strategies. 

  • Strong understanding of current recruitment trends, technologies, and best practices. 

  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. 

  • Strategic thinking, analytical mindset, and ability to drive data-driven decision-making. 

  • Demonstrated ability to manage and lead a team effectively. 

  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations related to recruitment and hiring.
