Position Summary:
We are seeking a Sr. Test Automation Specialist to join our team. An ideal candidate should have a strong background in automation of functional, regression and smoke test cases for web and legacy applications.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, document, and maintain automated functional test cases and other test artifacts, including test data and data verification.
- Develop and improve existing test automation frameworks (i.e., make them faster, more flexible, and easier to use) and utilize parallel processing or grid systems to speed up the tests
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand complex interaction between systems
- Build automation framework and re-usable automation tests/test scripts
- Execute and evaluate manual and automated test cases and report test results.
- Perform setup, configuration, and maintenance of automated testing environments with a focus on continuous testing and DevOps processes.
- Analyze requirements and technical design documents for use cases/user stories, create test cases, and perform impact analysis on the existing framework.
- Analyze and resolve automation-related problems by coordinating with the team to diagnose and fix issues.
- Perform Code reviews and ensue the quality meets the defined standards.
Requirements
Required Skills:
- Experience with Python (mandatory)
- Experience with Selenium, UI testing, Webservices Testing
- Experience with ALM and/or TestRail
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence
- Strong analytical and debugging skills
- Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
- Candidates must have lived in the United States 3 out of the past 5 years
Desired Skills:
- Experience working in federal projects (preferably CMS)
- Experience with mainframe systems
- Experience with AWS and/or DevOps
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in any IT related field
- 7+ years
