Sr. Tx Oligo Development Scientist

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Design and perform experiments independently to improve existing or create new processes or materials.
• Manage new processes from proof of concept through validation and implementation.
• Solve complex problems, including but not limited to new product development, fail reduction, new synthesizer development, and innovation ideas.
• Lead technical projects related to the Tx Oligo manufacturing business needs
• Other duties as assigned.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Bachelor's degree in science related field required.
• Minimum 7 years of work experience in a high tech or biotech company or a master's degree with 5 years of experience in a high tech or biotech company required.
• Expertise of oligonucleotide manufacturing processes and synthesis methods required.
• Ability to learn new software packages quickly required.
• Ability to adapt to changing requirements required.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Previous experience leading process development efforts.
• Proficiency in using statistical analysis software.
• Programming experience and/or SQL query.
• Experience with JMP data analysis.
