Haefele Flanagan is seeking highly motivated individuals with 0-2 years' experience for a Staff Accountant position.

Haefele Flanagan & Co., p.c. is a full-service CPA and advisory firm located in Maple Shade, New Jersey. Responsibilities:

  • Prepare individual, corporate, partnership, and other types of tax returns
  • Prepare financial statements for compilations, reviews, audit, and other assurance engagements
  • Tax planning and research
  • Manage multiple client assignments and projects
  • Build relationships with clients and client personnel
  • Correspond with client and supervisors on work status and inquiries
  • Support Senior Accountants, Managers, and Partners
  • Assist with special projects as needed

Qualifications:

  • BA Degree in accounting required with a GPA greater than 3.00
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • Solid computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Organizational skills and ability to provide an accurate and detailed work product
  • Able to meet strict deadlines and be a reliable, dedicated, and effective team member
  • Able to interact with clients and associates in a respectful manner at a professional level
  • Will uphold necessary level of technical knowledge and stay current on tax and accounting updates
  • Desire to learn and grow your professional skills in preparation for the CPA exam
