Dexcom is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced talent development professional to join the team!

We are searching for a Staff Learning and Development Specialist to be responsible for the oversight of key program management components for our various learning & development programs and systems, the facilitation of several learning key programs and the support of our ongoing career and leadership programs.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a high level of flexibility & commitment and the ability to work within a rapidly growing and changing global environment.

Where you come in:

  • Under the direction of the Sr. Manager, Learning & Development , manages key activities in support of the implementation and ongoing management of our current global learning curriculum, T&D development programs, intact-team sessions, systems (enterprise wide LMS), and targeted development/learning programs
  • Supports Learning & Development initiatives through needs analysis, learning consultation, instructional design (as needed), facilitation, and evaluation of the impact of these initiatives
  • Facilitates and drives any associated stakeholder meetings, documents decisions, and works closely with Sr. Manager of Learning & Development for guidance, reporting, and approval (as needed)
  • Acts as the main trainer and or facilitator for training sessions associated with our the Global Learning Curriculum, T&D initiatives, HR initiatives (as needed), and intact team sessions (as requested and assigned).
  • With Learning & Development leadership, leads the evolution of our global training practices, standards, and procedures for our systems and programs to positively impact the overall learning experience of Dexcom employees
  • Collaborates with various team members and subject matter experts (SMEs) to conduct needs assessment, determine collaboration efforts, and determine appropriate development option(s) and/or solutions.
  • Collaborates with LMS specialist and admin and Core/Functional Team members to determine, review, and update components associated with learning programs and how they should be captured in our Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Creates and maintains strong, collaborative relationships with T&D Leadership, HR partners and other internal stakeholders through open, responsive, and transparent efforts and communications
  • Partners across the Talent & Diversity team to support and maintain corporate learning and/or DEI-related training programs or initiatives (i.e. Performance Management, etc)
  • Provides program and/or project management expertise, best practices, and resources to members of the Talent & Diversity team
  • Performs other duties as assigned or required

What makes you successful:

  • Bachelor's degree and 8+ years experience in Talent Development, Corporate Learning, HR, etc. Advanced degrees a plus
  • Professional Certifications in globally delivered leadership courses such as Crucial Conversations, Situational Leadership, Franklin Covey courses or other similar leadership course(s)
  • Excellent training and facilitation skills to conduct leadership & management trainings, workshops, and/or consultations
  • Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills to identify issues, evaluate problems and formulate an effective course of action for development and/or developed-related actions from a regional and/or global perspective
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills to understand context and tone appropriate for various audiences in a global corporate environment
  • Ability to assist in working with and evaluating the effectiveness of vendors and/or 3rd parties as it relates to development resources and/or materials supporting global development needs
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience with learning management systems (LMS) from trainer perspective (course set and tracking, etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail, data accuracy, program management skills, and project management skills
  • Ability to interact effectively with various levels of staff and management and handle difficult situations
  • Experience in curriculum development software such as Articulate Storyline and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience with SharePoint
  • Experience with Smartsheet
  • Experience with SAP Learn
  • Experience with partnering with teams and connecting learnings and/or resources related to Talent Management, DE&I, and Change Management
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and MS Teams

Education and Experience:

  • Typically requires a Bachelors degree and a minimum of 8-12 years of related experience.
  • At this level a graduate degree may be expected with 4 years of related experience.

Travel Required:

  • 0-10%

Flex Workplace: Your primary location will be a home office. You will not have an assigned workstation and will work with your manager to determine office visit needs. You must live within commuting distance of your assigned Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120km).
