Staff VP Business Improvement (FHPS)
Location: Within commuting distance to Woodland Hills, CA, Atlanta, GA, Mason, OH, or Indianapolis, IN
Summary
Leads and oversees the business support organization in FHPS (Federal Health Products and Services). Leader will lead the Continuous Improvement, WFM, Data Analytics and Reporting, Process Management Teams and any other appropriate support functions to centrally provide business support to each operational department within the FHPS organization.
Position Responsibilities
- As a part of the FHPS senior leadership team, plays a key role in executing and setting the organizational goals and objectives of all of FHPS and each functional area that it supports.
- Establishes and maintains partner relationships with key stakeholders.
- Commits to innovation and automation to move the organization forward strategically to meet the needs of our members, internal FHPS partners and associates,
- Establishes an initiative intake process, ensuring key projects are aligned to top organization priorities.
- Aligns internal resources to projects and manages external sourcing to obtain full competency to complete projects.
- Sets up a financial control process, data analytics, compilation, and assessment, and reports on the status and health of the portfolio using the dashboard to provide visibility into key metrics.
- Establishes and oversees a comprehensive communication plan and informs key stakeholders about the progress of initiatives.
- Develops and deploys a business improvement discipline and practice across the organization.
- Creates standardized methodology, tools and templates.
- Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.
Position Requirements
Requires a BA/BS in a related field and minimum of 10 years experience at an executive director or above level with significant large-scale project management, strategic planning and continuous improvement in the health care industry; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Ability to travel required.

- Experience in leading and implementing system modernization initiatives.
- Familiarity in Workforce Management (WFM) and Data Analytics desirable.
- Master's degree preferred.
- Six Sigma Black Belt or PMP certification preferred.
For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $ $177,360.00
to $ $305,946.00

Elevance Health operates in a Hybrid Workforce Strategy.
