Storage Engineer

Job Description
BAE Systems seeks a senior level-careered Storage/SAN/NAS systems integration engineer with 3-4 years of contiguous hands-on Cloud Storage and SAN/NAS engineering experience in identifying and defining requirements, evaluating, designing, installing, configuring, and implementing Cloud Storage and SAN/NAS solutions (Pure/IBM COS) on large-scale enterprise platforms, in support of the technical solutions task order.
Important: This position requires living within a commutable distance to Washington DC work onsite a minimum of 1 day per week.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• SAN/NAS Technologies utilizing products such as:
  • Unity
  • Isilon
  • PURE
  • DAS
  • NAS
  • CTERA
  • IBMCOS
• Block Replication Technologies, specifically Dell EMC RecoverPoint
• NAS Replication Technologies (Recovery Point)
• Cisco MDS Directors and Switches
• Networking
  • IP addressing, subnets, gateways, ports, protocols.
• Disaster Recovery planning

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• CommVault
• Other storage technologies such as Purestorage
• Distributed File Systems and Object Storage: such as IBMCOS
• Experience with enterprise level backup software.
• Four-year bachelor's degree in a technical, engineering, or scientific field or equivalent experience.
• ITIL Foundations certification

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $126610 - $215270
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
