We’re looking for a Strategic Sales Engineer to join our global team. This role combines technical expertise with strategic sales skills to drive growth, deliver tailored solutions, and cultivate strong customer relationships across diverse regions and markets.
What You’ll Do
- Drive Global Growth: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet or exceed revenue targets across multiple regions.
- Deliver Technical Excellence: Present, demo, and lead POCs for Autofleet’s cutting-edge solutions to showcase value and adaptability.
- Expand Market Reach: Build and manage a robust global pipeline, securing new clients and expanding partnerships with existing customers.
- Provide Expert Consultation: Assess and address the technical needs of diverse clients, creating customized solutions and proposals.
- Respond to Opportunities: Manage RFPs and RFIs by providing detailed technical and commercial documentation.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Act as the primary liaison between clients and Autofleet’s implementation teams to ensure seamless delivery and success.
- Enable Sales Teams: Train and support the global sales team on technical aspects of the product to enhance deal conversions.
- Ensure Customer Success: Manage ongoing client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and long-term value.
- Contribute to Product Growth: Offer insights and feedback for continuous product innovation and sales engineering process improvement.
- Optimize Pricing Strategies: Develop and refine pricing strategies based on diverse customer environments and global market conditions.
- 2+ years of experience in pre-sales or technical solution roles within B2B SaaS, focusing on supporting sales teams to secure and close deals.
- Strong knowledge of web technologies, APIs, and system integrations, with the ability to deliver tailored technical demonstrations, POCs, and solution architecture discussions.
- Â Skilled at assessing client requirements, identifying challenges, and designing custom solutions aligning with technical and business goals.
- Experienced crafting detailed RFP responses, technical documentation, and pricing models that address client needs and align with business objectives.
- Demonstrated ability to work with diverse customers across regions, adapting communication styles and solutions to meet cultural and market-specific needs.
- Acts as a technical liaison between clients, sales, and product/engineering teams, ensuring seamless communication and implementation alignment.
- Exceptional ability to translate complex technical concepts into simple, value-driven narratives for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience in building and maintaining robust pre-sales pipelines through proactive client engagement, demos, and solution workshops.
- Adept with pre-sales tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms to effectively manage and optimize sales engineering processes.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of independently driving pre-sales efforts to support global sales teams.
- Exceptional English communication skills, both written and verbal
