Summer Legal Intern

Mighty seeks a current law student with an interest in legal innovation, legal technology, litigation financing, personal injury litigation and Access to Justice initiatives to be a part of its legal team for the summer or on an ongoing part-time basis.  The ideal candidate will have a passion for and an interest in the cutting edge frontier of legal services, and a desire to work cross-functionally on the issues facing Mighty’s clients.  This role will be based in New York, NY, or be fully remote (US Only), and work directly with Mighty’s General Counsel. 

What you’ll do: 

• Research and write on issues at the forefront of legal services and legal innovation 
• Participate in litigation finance deals and related opportunities
• Help develop and implement processes that benefit Mighty’s clients 
• Contribute to and participate in team meetings, team activities and other growth opportunities  
• Assist with the day-to-day business of the legal department including issues related to startup businesses and common contracts
