Supervisor Technical Procurement

The Supervisor, Technical Procurement is part of Breeze’s Technical Supply Chain organization. Responsible for developing and promoting strategic partnerships with suppliers who provide Breeze with goods and services required to support aircraft maintenance, which includes buying new spare parts and tools, managing repair cycle, and recovering warranties. Leads a team of Buyers, Repair & Warranty administrators.

• Represents the company in business transactions with internal and external organizations
• Identifies and implements opportunities to minimize TCO (Total Cost of Ownership)
• Identifies, negotiates and manages supply and service agreements; Performs analysis and leads commercial negotiation with suppliers
• Facilitates the development of ad-hoc reports, KPIs and dashboards leveraging corporate tools (Power BI, SQL queries)
• Develops, measures and influences supplier performance; resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion
• Translates team, department and corporate goals into commodity strategies and executes them to deliver results
• Mentors and develops team members, positively influences them and external partners to achieve goals
• Leads cross-functional teams; fully understands internal customer requirements and works to meet those needs
• Develops standard operating procedures, identifies opportunities for improvement and champions them while fully assessing and mitigating risk
• Achieve performance measures and adhere to established standards in conjunction with Breeze Aviation Group Values of Safety, Kindness, Integrity, Ingenuity, and Excellence

Minimum Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field and/or equivalent experience/training
• 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain, or a similar work function
• General understanding of FAA regulations including FAR part 121 operations
• Must have strong analytical skills, as well as a working knowledge of Microsoft Windows based programs such as Outlook, Word and Excel
• Familiarity with Power BI, SQL
• Ability to lead, direct and engage team members to perform at the highest level
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and varied hours when necessary to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment

• Previous supply chain experience in the aviation/airline sector
• TRAX experience
