Work in a multinational and friendly team. An international outlook is important as both customers and suppliers are located across the world. Work closely with the Supply Chain team on solving day-to-day issues, updating systems and reports. The correct candidate will have experience in office environment managing general admin workÂ
Job Description
In order to strengthen the UK Supply Chain team we are looking for an admin resource. The right candidate has experience with ERP systems, excel and general purchasing tasks.
Key tasksÂ
- Placing orders for steel and “bought-in-finished” parts – We should coverÂ
- Communication with suppliers on delivery datesÂ
- Update PO delivery dates in ERP systemÂ
- Update MRD reports using excel extracts – We team should coverÂ
- Communicating delivery plans to internal stakeholdersÂ
- General ad hoc admin work to assist PurchaserÂ
- Update backorder reportsÂ
Other tasks/projectsÂ
- Process Spares & data inputÂ
- Backorder reporting daily within UK team & suppliersÂ
- Daily/ weekly excel task creation Â
- Repack creationÂ
- UPS / Carrier queries doc archiveÂ
- Customer Service queries (Stock, due etc)Â
- All other Adhoc / Admin tasks Â
- Communication with 3PL warehouse (DB Schenker)Â
- System integrity on stock alignment with 3PL warehouseÂ
Qualifications
- Experience within a purchasing/procurement/logistics roleÂ
- Experience of working with suppliers, customers and external partnersÂ
- Able to analyse and use data effectively
- IT Literate and experienced in the use of IT systems to enhance performance (excel, power point, ERP etc.)Â
- Collaborative with strong team working skillsÂ
