We have an exciting opportunity for a Supply Planner to join Norgine.

The person holding this position will report to AD of Planning and be a member of the supply chain /planning team.

Reporting directly to the Associate Director Rx Planning, the main purpose of the Supply Planner is to develop opportunities and improvements to deliver the supply roadmap.

To work with the Norgine manufacturing sites and External networks to ensure that the customer demand can be fulfilled across multiple brands. Working closely with the production sites on capacity planning to agree supply scenarios for approval where gaps exist across a 24 month planning horizon.

Your objective will be managing short, medium and long term Finished Goods supply to support growth, whilst meeting service level and stock holding objectives.

As a Supply Planner you will be at the centre of inventory and availability planning and will be instrumental in ensuring we meet our patient’s expectations with a drive to continuously improve.

Excellent communication skills are key to ensure the timely communication of priorities, issues and criticalities to all relevant stakeholders.

Requirements
  • Collaborate with manufacturing sites to maintain scheduling and deliveries to ensure service level requirements are met.
  • To be the SME & process owner for Inventory and Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP).
  • Chair and manage monthly Supply Review Meetings with manufacturing sites.
  • Participate in & support activities required to run the monthly S&OP Exec meeting.
  • Development of rough cut capacity planning (RCCP) capability
  • Simulate supply scenarios to mitigate risks & optimise the supply plan
  • Accountable for the implementation & management of inventory policy to deliver the supply roadmap
  • Respond and communicate on supply risks with customers a timely manner to avoid out of stocks.
  • Lead the prioritization of orders with various functions such as Quality, Logistics & Customer Services
  • Ensure all planning parameters on systems are accurate & up to date
  • Support continuous improvement activities such as root causing and implementing counter measures



Key skills/experience preferred

  • Educated to degree level in relevant studies
  • Extensive experience in a Supply Chain Environment (Manufacturing, Planning)
  • Strong understanding of the fundamentals of inventory management and capacity management
  • It is essential that you have experience planning in an environment that uses an integrated ERP
  • Ability to work with large data sets in MS Excel using Power Queries & Power Pivots
  • Understanding of supply chain planning parameters, master data and master data integrity & quality
  • Excellent communications and collaboration skills to manage a multitude of customers and key partners, both internal and external to Norgine.
  • You will have a natural attention to detail, an aptitude for problem-solving and presentation skills, and an ability to build effective relationships at all levels in an organisation
  • Comfortable working in a high growth & fast changing environment
