Cerner are looking for a Support Integration Architect to the Application Management Services (AMS) team who are dedicated to ensuring the optimal performance of Cerner Millennium applications through 24x7x365 proactive monitoring, management and quick problem resolution. The AMS team stands ready to provide direct and continuous support for the day-to-day operational management of Cerner applications.

The Support Integration Architect position, within AMS, will have extensive contact with the client to guide the proper change management process in multiple domains, coordinate small to moderate projects, maintain code and domain strategies and drive compliance with Cerner recommendations in best practice and solution build. The Support Integration Architect also plays a central role in the identification, troubleshooting and resolution of recurring issues across the solution base, and is involved in critical issue escalations. Additionally, this role will work in collaboration with Cerner Support Services to assist and guide solution teams with investigations on both issue resolution and change requests. Working Environment

Hybrid or Remote

This position offers a Hybrid or Remote working environment. Meaning if you live within a metro area of a Cerner office, you will split working time between a Cerner office and remote. Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
  • At least 6 years of total combined related work experience and completed higher education
    • At least 1 year of Healthcare information technology (HCIT) consulting, HCIT support, project/program management, client relationship management and/or other client-facing or HCIT solution work experience
    • At least 5 years of additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education
      • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering
  • Applicants for U.S. based positions with Cerner Corporation must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with CCL
  • Experience in partnering with internal and external client teams to understand, design, and validate integration points across solutions
  • Experience with change management, project management, and domain strategy.
  • 1+ year of Integration Architect experience or completion of the Cerner Integration Architect Development Program
  • Plus at least 2 years of technical support and/or implementation work experience
Expectations:
  • Provide 24/7 on-call support as needed
  • Willing to travel up to 20% as needed
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
  • Ability to travel based on client or business need

Due to specific client contract requirements, this position requires that the successful candidate be a U.S. citizen. The client contract also requires receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for the position.
