Your Main Objective:

Leidos is looking for a System Administrator to join a team of similar individuals who work alongside the government on a 24x7 desk to support field sites.

The successful candidate will be a part of a team that provides support to multiple organizations from a central location, with no travel requirements. This is an exciting position that supports a mission critical program with high visibility and a proven track record.

What Sets You Apart:

Qualifications: Five (5) years' experience as an SA on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

System Administrator - SHIFT (SAS) Level 1

This is a NIGHT FLOATER position. The normal schedule is 7 pm - 5 am, Monday - Thursday. The floating occurs when this role covers other shifts if coworkers are on leave. For example, most other roles work 12-hour night shifts from 5 pm to 5 am. Therefore, this floater position might work a 12-hour shift on a Friday night from 5 pm - 5 am if someone is sick or on leave.

Tasking includes, but not limited to:

• Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems.
• Manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems
• Provide assistance to users in accessing and using IT systems
• Provide support for escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers
• Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all the client/server/storage/network devices, etc.
• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems
• Optimize system operations and resource utilization, and perform system capacity analysis and planning
• Monitor and notify according to procedures. Monitor screens and site data for issues.

The candidate must currently possess and maintain one of the following certifications:

• Microsoft Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundation
• Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP)
• CompTIA Linux+
• Linux Professional Institute (LPIC) level 1 or higher
• Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) Certification
• Or equivalent approved by customer.

TS/SCI w/Polygraph is required

Pay Range:

Pay Range $89,700.00 - $162,150.00
