Job Description

SUMMARY OF DUTIES

Installation, management, and maintenance of corporate local and wide-area data networks. Management, maintenance, and monitoring of corporate telecommunications networks.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS PERFORMED

1. Troubleshoots user support inquiries including but not limited to hardware, software, and telecommunication issues.
2. Sets up, maintains, and troubleshoots laptops and desktops
3. Monitors and reports activity within the user support group.
4. Performs various changes to user accounts via Active Directory and Microsoft 365
5. Answers incoming calls to the user support group on a rotating basis, solves initial inquiries from end-users, and routes the complex inquires to the appropriate resource.
6. Sets-up new users on the domain.
7. Sets up, maintains, and troubleshoots printers, such as HP LaserJet, Multi-Function, Zebra xi4, and Zebra GX420, etc.
8. Sets up, maintains, and troubleshoots scanners such as TC72
9. Sets up and troubleshoots mobile devices such as iPhone, iPad, and Android-related devices.
10. Updates and creates internal articles and/or documentation.
11. Provides on-call network support, as needed.
12. Manages endpoints via Microsoft 365
13. Tests and deploys Windows and 3rd party patches globally.
14. Creates and tests new system images.
15. Provides audio-visual support.
16. Performs other duties and tasks as required.

SUMMARY OF MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Educational experience equivalent to an Associate's Degree in Computer Science or related field with two years work-related experience, or four years work-related experience.
• Novell CNE or CNA is strongly preferred.
• Must have a thorough knowledge and understanding of computer software and hardware and their network applications.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
• Ability to work as a team member.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Must be able to manage time in an efficient manner and complete projects which require research and presentations.
• Demonstrated computer skills preferably spreadsheets, word processing, database, and other applicable software programs.
