Convergint is looking for a local full-time, enthusiastic, results driven and forward-thinking Talent Acquisition Partner to join our amazing culture. In this role, you will source and interview to ensure cultural fit and skillset alignment. You will be a sole contributor to manage the recruitment process for the DC market. As a Talent Acquisition Partner, you are a part of a dynamic team that allows you to grow as Convergint grows.

*This role will sit onsite in Columbia, MD and will offer a hybrid schedule, not 100% remote. Role will support the DMV area and must be familiar with DMV market*

What You'll Need

  • Company liaison for targeted talent pool such as; community organizations, universities and HBCUs, veteran organizations, trade tech and high schools and, military bases.
  • Coordinate, attend and host onsite job fairs and information sessions.
  • Assist with diversity and inclusion initiatives and recruitment strategies.
  • Build relationships and trust with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Conducts screening of resumes and initial interviews. Refers candidates for the next level of interviews with managers.
  • Leverages social media and other sourcing strategy platforms for identifying and recruiting potential new hires.
  • Ensures all positions are internally and externally posted and routed accordingly to provide our hiring managers with a pool of qualified candidates.
  • Uses effective and professional communication skills to deliver and gather information, projects a positive company image, and to attract candidates.
  • Be able to identify alternative pipelines such as military and adjacent industries and companies to attract candidates with highly transferable skillsets and be able to sell candidates to hiring managers.
  • Responds to inquiries from hiring managers and applicants, pertaining to hiring activities and career opportunities.

  • Strong affinity for problem solving and finding top candidates via multiple platforms.
  • Desire to learn, understand, and apply solutions to recruitment challenges.
  • Ability to build candidate confidence and hiring manager relationships.
  • Ability to adapt to business changes on short notice.
  • Ability to effectively partner with Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, Inclusion & Diversity and Marketing Teams.
  • Strong presentation, organization and communication skills.

Requirements:

Education: College degree, trade school or equivalent experience

Minimum Experience: 3-5 years of campus recruitment, military recruitment, attending onsite career fairs and brand awareness.
