TITLE: Tech Lead - Microsoft Stack         DEPARTMENT: Corporate IT

REPORTING TO: Director, Portal and Middle Ware

Type: Full time, Hybrid    


­POSITION SUMMARY

As the technical lead, this position will be a hands-on developer in addition to overseeing the offshore development teams which includes tracking deliverables, review technical design documents and enforce Architecture guidelines.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Understand the requirements from different stakeholders and liaison with offshore teams.
  • Utilize in-depth knowledge and skills across multiple applications development area to provide technical oversight across systems and applications.
  • Capitalize on technology advances and introduce them to applicable areas within the team / organization.
  • Manage technical applications along with the development teams to accomplish established goals.
  • Manage the ongoing / upcoming (application / integrations) development projects.
  • Enforcing the development teams to develop software solutions leveraging test driven development using unit test frameworks.
  • Enforcing the development teams to Develop software solutions that are geared towards a continuous integration/continuous delivery methodology.
  • Design and Develop software solutions in a microservices service-oriented architecture with loosely coupled services leveraging APIs.
  • Design and Develop end user facing UI applications with usability being a key factor for customer adoption.
  • Design, Develop, Customize, and maintain SharePoint Online solutions, SharePoint Sites, and libraries to meet business requirements.
  • Integrate SharePoint Online with Other systems and applications, including Microsoft 365 services (e.g., Teams, Power Automate, Power Apps).


Desirable Experience/Skills/Qualifications

  • Experience working with agile/scrum methodology.
  • Experience with continuous integration/continuous delivery principles
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills, including the ability to look for standard and non-standard problem solutions.
  • Experience working with the following technologies.
    • Proven experience in SharePoint Online development and customization.
    • Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, site hierarchy, and permission management.
    • Microsoft Azure Development (Containers, Azure Kubernetes Service, Identity Provider using Active Directory Services)
    • Securing applications and services using Azure AD Service
    • REST API development and frameworks
    • Design Patterns (MVC, MVVM, SOLID principles, UML, etc.)
    • Expert level experience in .NET Standard & .NET CORE
    • Experienced with Azure Messaging Platforms
    • Experienced with Azure Cloud Native Platforms
    • Excellent SQL Server database experience – Write / Debug / Performance tune SQL Stored Procedures, Triggers and Views.
    • Unit testing frameworks such as Nunit.
    • Jenkins and Azure Devops knowledge is a plus.

Education: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science with 10 years of experience in relevant areas.
  • Master’s degree in computer science a plus.
