WHAT YOU’LL DO
Viant is seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated Technical Account Manager to join our team to act in a client service role. As a Technical Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and supporting our clients' Data Platform, 1st & 3rd party measurement needs, with a specific focus on leveraging SQL via Google BigQuery for troubleshooting, data analysis and workflow automation. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the successful implementation and optimization of our clients' advertising campaigns and strategies.
This is an opportunity to be on the bleeding edge of data and measurement, collaborating and building relationships with clients at top global brands and ad agencies.
 The ideal candidate will have a combination of exceptional project management and client service skills, as well as knowledge of the advertising technology landscape. You should have a strong understanding of client service best practices and SQL experience.
THE DAY TO DAY
- Post-sales Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as their primary point of contact for technical inquiries & issue resolution; actively support our clients’ Data Platform, 3rd party measurement, and Viant’s Advanced Reporting services
- Project manage and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Business Intelligence, and Operations, to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of technical solutionsÂ
- Act as a trusted advisor to key customers, understanding their technical requirements and implementing technical solutions for key customers through aligning our products/services to meet their needs.
- Provide ongoing training and documentation for internal sales and operations teams on measurement reporting and best practices to promote knowledge sharing
- Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve technical issues related to data integration, reporting discrepancies, and performance gaps, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize Google BigQuery SQL to extract and analyze large datasets, deriving actionable insights & automation to improve advertising campaign performance and ROI
GREAT TO HAVE
- 3+ years of relevant experience in Account Management, Project Management and/or Ad Operations
- Strong client service skills, as well as knowledge of the prominent technologies within ad tech: on-boarding, DSPs, ad serving, programmatic buying, measurement and data targeting
- Problem solving attitude, with the ability to articulate complex topics to a novice or non-technical audience
- Proficiency with SQL via Google BigQuery along with other cloud-based systems and tools
- Results-oriented, highly productive, self-starter who is able to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) or equivalent experience, preferably in a quantitatively-oriented field
