Nos équipes de création travaillent actuellement sur plusieurs titres passionnants : Gemini est notre nouveau projet mené en collaboration avec Square Enix; Maverick est un jeu AAA développé en collaboration avec Microsoft; Bifrost, Victoria et Dagger sont des projets que nous réalisons selon un modèle d’auto-édition. Nous avons également un projet en phase de conception : Red; ainsi que deux projets en technologie de réalité virtuelle : Green Hell VR et Bulletstorm VR, qui est une captivante version en RV de notre jeu de tir culte.

Project Maverick is a yet unannounced AAA game developed with Microsoft. The game development involves our European and North American teams.

We are looking for an experienced Art Director. This person will be responsible for the visual direction, art content, and management of the art team.


The Art Director will be responsible for:

  • All game art content, ensuring that visual elements are of the highest possible quality.
  • Leading a team of artists producing 2D, 3D, and VFX assets
  • Defining and driving the project’s artistic vision in line with the overall creative direction for the game
  • Collaborating with Technical artists and leads to develop efficient and productive art pipelines and
  • establish metrics that ensure artistic goals are met within technical performance targets.
  • Keeping informed about the latest advances in game art techniques and technology
  • Driving the creation of presentation and marketing materials to communicate the artistic vision to
  • stakeholders and external partners.
  • Be actively involved with recruitment, vetting candidates, performing interviews / recommending hires.

  • Diriger une Ă©quipe d’artistes produisant des Ă©lĂ©ments 2D, 3D et des effets visuels (VFX). 
  • DĂ©finir et conduire la vision artistique du projet en harmonie avec la direction crĂ©ative globale du jeu.
  • Collaborer avec les artistes et les responsables techniques pour mettre en place des pipelines artistiques efficaces et productifs, et Ă©tablir des paramètres de mesures garantissant que les objectifs artistiques sont atteints tout en respectant les cibles de rendement technique.
  • Se tenir au courant des plus rĂ©centes avancĂ©es en matière de techniques et de technologie d’art ludique.
  • Diriger la crĂ©ation de matĂ©riel de prĂ©sentation et de marketing pour transmettre la vision artistique aux parties prenantes et aux partenaires externes.
  • Participer activement au recrutement, Ă  l’évaluation des candidats, Ă  la rĂ©alisation des entretiens d’embauche et Ă  la recommandation des embauches.

Qualifications

  • Minimum de 8 ans d’expĂ©rience dans la crĂ©ation d’art ludique de niveau AAA.
  • ExpĂ©rience dans la construction et la livraison d’au moins un jeu AAA, de la conception au lancement.
  • Excellentes compĂ©tences en communication (orale et Ă©crite).
  • Portfolio solide dĂ©montrant un haut niveau de crĂ©ativitĂ© artistique dans une ou plusieurs disciplines d’art ludique, dans un Ă©ventail de styles.
  • Solides compĂ©tences en art 2D et conceptuel.
  • Connaissance experte de Photoshop.
  • Solide comprĂ©hension des plus rĂ©centes techniques de modĂ©lisation 3D.
  • Excellente connaissance de Maya et ZBrush.
  • Esprit technique avec expĂ©rience dans l’intĂ©gration d’actifs dans les moteurs de jeu.
  • ComprĂ©hension de la thĂ©orie fondamentale de l’art, y compris les principes de couleur, de lumière, de composition et d’anatomie.
  • CapacitĂ© dĂ©montrĂ©e Ă  Ă©quilibrer l’esthĂ©tique avec la performance et la convivialitĂ©.

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating a high level of artistic creativity in one or more game art disciplines across

  • Strong 2D and concept art skills.
  • Expert knowledge of Photoshop.
  • Strong understanding of the latest techniques in 3D modeling.
  • Excellent knowledge of Maya and ZBrush.
  • Technical mindset with experience in implementing assets in game engines.
  • Understanding of fundamental art theory including principles of color, light, composition, and anatomy.
  • Proven ability to balance aesthetics with performance and usability.
