Job Description
Job description
Vio.com believes travel is the one thing that opens minds to new ideas, cultures, and ways of thinking. Our mission is to GET EVERY TRAVELLER THE BEST ACCOMMODATION DEAL, WORLDWIDE. From adventure travel and backpacking to honeymoons and family vacations, we genuinely care so that every traveler can make the best-informed accommodation choice at the absolute best conditions for every trip.
A core strategy for achieving this mission is growing our accommodation supply and managing it more effectively than anyone else in the industry. Doing that ensures we can provide our users with access to the best available deals, which often cannot be found anywhere else.
We are looking for a Technical Integrations Manager to join Vio.com 's supply team and take a key role in implementing our Supply strategy by owning and leading our supply partners' integration and technical operation. We are working with dozens of supply partners and plan to double this amount within a year. To do it, we must master the onboarding efficiency, improve or management and optimization processes, and build internal tools to manage partners in scale.
Â
What you will do:
-
Manage supply partners' integration projects end-to-end. This requires careful coordination across multiple teams and specific knowledge of Vio’s internal systems. You will work to ensure that ongoing integration projects are managed correctly and delivered in high quality and on time.
-
Own the day-to-day partner’s operation to improve operational KPIs and business performance. This involves core optimizations such as accurately mapping supplier data structures with Vio's own data models or keeping up to date with supplier API upgrades, but also complex integration aspects related to requests consumption and rate distribution rules.
-
Lead integration maintenance and growth and push for improving their quality and robustness.
-
Works relentlessly to improve our operation efficiency. Discover new needs, define and implement new processes, and define requirements of new tools.
-
Maintain ongoing technical communication with partners and support in growing their relationships.
-
Be the owner and authority of everything related to supply integrations and the main leader of their execution. Prioritize tasks and initiatives within your domain and support our Head of Supply in defining the strategy and roadmap.
-
Collaborate closely with product, engineering, business, analytics, and leadership stakeholders to achieve the above.
-
Get your hands dirty; you’re expected to be very hands-on. For example, you should expect to dive deep into API docs, run analytical queries in our data warehouse daily, and look into logs, QA integration, bugs, and more.
Who you are:
-
5+ years experience in the the tech industry, previous experience working as a Technical Product Owner/Manager, Technical/Engineering Project Manager, or similar role in high-performing teams.
-
You have a solid technical background. Preferably, you have a BSc or MSc in Science, Engineering, or another technical field or have previous experience as a developer/engineer.
-
You can quickly understand technical documentation and, in particular, have a good understanding of API development methodologies and technologies.
-
Excelent project management skills. A previous experience managing complex technical projects with many technical and non-technical stakeholders.
-
Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to prioritization. You justify your decisions with data as much as possible, but you are not paralyzed when data is scarce or inaccurate. You have a strong bias towards action.
-
Exceptional collaboration and communication skills. You can collaborate and communicate, in written and verbal, as effectively with your technical team as with business stakeholders and external partners.
-
Passion for solving problems and optimizing for efficiency and the ability to translate those solutions into requirements that your team can execute.
-
Good commercial mindset. You don’t focus on activities but on outcomes. What drives you is to make more happy customers book better deals and achieve a commercial impact.
-
Great sense of ownership and a can-do approach, and you are an executor in your sole.
