Technical Product Analyst - CMDB & Asset Management (Hybrid @Chicago HQ near O'Hare Airport)

Responsible for analyzing and governing the ServiceNow Configuration Managemnt Database (CMDB) and asset management modules. Collaborate with business partners, including managers, engineers, and vendors. Up to 25% of the time
will be utilized to assist with ITSM and Disaster Recovery initiatives.
Responsibilities
• Maintain the accuracy and completeness of the CMDB, ensuring it reflects current and accurate views of the IT infrastructure • Collaborate with IT teams to capture and record asset & configuration item (CI) details, including their attributes and relationships • Perform regular audits and verification processes to ensure data integrity within the CMDB • Support the IT change management process by providing insights from the CMDB to assess risks and impacts • Develop and generate reports to assist with compliance, governance, and management decisionmaking • Develop CMDB related documentation including but not limited to procedure and training documents • Participate in the implementation and enhancement of CMDB tools and integrations • Assist with problem resolution and incident investigation related to configuration items • Assist in the planning and execution of disaster recovery testing, including documentating the results • Assist the review and reporting of IT assets • Provide input on the ITSM policies and procedures
Education:

• Bachelors Degree - Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Technology Management, Engineering, Mathematics, or Related - Minimum

Experience:

• 3 years - ITSM, Asset Management, Technical Writing, Disaster Recovery activities or Related - Minimum

In Lieu of Education:

• 7 years - ITSM, Asset Management, Technical Writing, Disaster Recovery activities or Related
