  Manages Client relationship, runs project meetings, prepares project schedule, escalates issues, communicates timeline and progress to client, follows up on open items with team and client, supports Sales with new business opportunities

Job overview:

The Technical Project Manager plays a pivotal role in maintaining client satisfaction and loyalty by ensuring the Customer achieves exceptional value through their lifespan with Gistia.

He/she has a strong technical background, having played a Software Engineer, Team Lead or Software Architect role in the past, later building his/her path towards a leadership/management position and becoming responsible for the day-to-day relationship with the Customer and stakeholders, leading meetings, follow-ups, task delivery, etc.

The Technical Project Manager is expected to help the Customer set ambitious yet realistic business goals and ensure that all internal teams are aligned with these expectations.

The Technical Project Manager will work closely with all departments within Gistia and have direct visibility with the executive team as the relationship owner with the Customer(s).

 

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Leading cross functional projects and project teams for a successful schedule, and budget delivery
  • Managing all relations and communications with clients and internal teams
  • Providing regular updates on the progress of their projects to the Head of Operations
  • QA on Jira issues for projects (all tasks must have assignees if active, all tasks must have an epic, all tasks must have specific fields filled out)
  • Support of discovery projects and other new business opportunities
  • Facilitating or supporting the execution of contracts
  • Developing and communicating expectations on each project for achieving client satisfaction and holding the project team accountable for attaining them
  • Lead and own enterprise accounts, serving as the single point of contact across all work with the customer, maintaining relationships and keeping stakeholders engaged
  • Manage a portfolio of projects for the assigned customer, ensuring coordination of shared resources, common activities, and other dependencies across project
  • Provide context to Sales with respect to coordinating contract renewals or new project requests (Sales executes, PM supports this process)
  • Strong leadership abilities and the ability to communicate effectively
  • A solid understanding of the tech/healthcare industry and best practices is nice-to-have
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Project Management or comparable experience
  • Fluent English speaking
  • Methodologies: Able to deliver projects using traditional (Waterfall) or Agile (Scrum/Kanban) methodologies
  • Tools: Jira, O365, MS Teams, MS Project
  • Skills: strong communication, professional demeanor, ability to build consensus and flush out confusion/questions in group, creative problem solving, ability to deal with ambiguity, ability to self-motivate and manage work via remote environment
  • Nice-to-have: PMP, Scrum or Agile certifications
  • Should have worked with Waterfall and Agile/Scrum methodology
