Come join Kohler Ventures as Technical Project Manager as we build a best-in-class global multi-disciplinary team across artificial intelligence, machine learning, design, advanced software and hardware engineering, strategy, venture investments, sales, marketing, and partnerships.

In your role as Technical Project Manager at Kohler Ventures you will:

• Work directly with the Head of Software, software engineering team, and product teams.
• Overseeing multiple simultaneous and technically demanding cloud-focused projects.
• Managing ongoing projects, kick-offs, reviews, and lessons learned.
• Developing and managing full lifecycle projects, ensuring on-time delivery.
• Drive Agile software development process.
• Partnering with architects, development teams and program manager to deliver operational efficiency needs.
• Guiding highly skilled engineers to ensure successful project delivery.
• Implementing project management procedures, frameworks, and performance metrics.
• Creating documentation to support plans and processes, driving consistency and alignment across teams.
• Utilizing data to drive strategic decisions and reporting.
• Reporting on project health, success metrics, and active progress.

Skills/Requirements

Required

• 5+ years of experience as an IT Project Manager.
• Project Management Professional (PMP), Scrum Master, or other technical certifications.
• Strong technical knowledge of AWS cloud Platform.
• Travel to Kohler Ventures and Kohler Co. locations as needed.
• Availability to work outside of their normal business hours to collaborate with teams and vendors located across multiple time zones.

Preferred

• Bachelor's degree in a CS/engineering or related technical discipline from a reputed academic institution.  Master is preferred.
• Proficiency in deep software architecture, systems design, and best practices for Professional Services in the Cloud.
• Excellent analytical and data querying experience.
• Skills in SQL, python scripting, dashboarding tools, automation, and programming at beginner or higher level.
• Experience with IoT devices/platforms.
• Positive, can-do attitude with a high degree of ownership and self-motivation to drive change.
• Entrepreneurial experience in a high growth technology focused company or startup.
• Exemplary collaboration skills across teams, geographies, and functions.

The approved base salary range for this position is $101,100-$155,800 The actual base salary offered to a candidate may be higher than the approved range. This will vary depending on a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. This position is subject to a 16% Area Salary Differential (Cost of Living Adjustment) in the NYC metro area. The approved base salary range including ASD for this position is $117,276- $180,728 depending on location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus and a special project incentive.  Available benefits include medical, dental, vision and 401k.
