Job Description

Andworx is hiring a Technical Recruiter to play an important role in the continued growth and success of our company and the solutions we deliver to our Federal Government customers. As Technical Recruiter you will be working closely with hiring managers and technical teams to fill existing positions, provide surge recruiting support and build a pipeline of highly qualified people for Andworx core capabilities. We are looking for an energetic, hands-on doer with an entrepreneurial mindset that has experience recruiting for highly skilled cleared and uncleared IT positions in the Federal Government space.

This is an excellent career growth opportunity with us, as the technical recruiter will collaborate on and assist with the implementation of our multi-year recruiting strategy while learning all things Andworx.

This position is remote, but candidates should live within a commutable distance to Washington, DC Metro Area, as there will be occasional requirements to attend in-person company functions, events, and work out of the office once in a while if you’d like.

Requirements

  • Experience sourcing and recruiting for technical positions supporting Federal Government contracts.
  • Solid understanding of proactive sourcing techniques and tools including social networks, and collaboration services.
  • Full life cycle recruiting experience for technical positions.
  • Experience networking and building professional relationships.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent computers skills including use of applicant tracking and sourcing tools, and O365, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and entrepreneurial environment.
  • Must be a self-starter with a positive mindset who takes initiative.
  • Bachelor’s Degree, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience.

Responsibilities

As Technical Recruiter the candidate will leverage their blend of sourcing, recruiting, project and people experience, as well as organization and communication skills, to fill existing and new positions, support surge recruiting needs, and build strong candidate pipelines.

  • Full life cycle recruiting for technical positions leveraging proactive sourcing techniques, ATS database, social networking, collaboration services, employee referrals, targeted job postings, industry events, memberships etc.
  • Conduct position intake meetings, collaborate with hiring managers (HM) and technical team members to fine tune job positions and develop a position specific strategic recruiting plan.
  • Write and update position descriptions for target audience, accurately capture requirements from intake meeting and post in ATS.
  • Source for initial candidate pool compiling real time feedback for leadership and HMs using data gathered from sourcing and screening activities.
  • Assess applicant resumes against position requitements, performing initial video screening with qualified applicants.
  • Present screened and qualified technical candidates to hiring managers; coordinate and schedule technical interviews with HM and candidate; conduct post interview feedback meeting with technical team.
  • Maintain timely communication with applicants regarding their status and pending customer requirements.
  • Extend and negotiate offers within defined compensation range.
  • Actively manage applicant tracking and sourcing tools for accuracy and compliance.
  • Build a strong pipeline of candidates for our core capabilities, active contracts, and proposal efforts by leveraging proactive sourcing techniques, strategic partnerships, databases, and networking and relationship skills.
  • Manage the Andworx booth at job fairs and industry conferences.
  • Increase your industry reach by attending networking and industry events, professional meet ups and university hiring events, engaging candidates on social media, professional and alumnae platforms.
  • Contribute to Andworx additional growth by participating in recruiting and sourcing activities for new business opportunities to that include incumbent capture, resume development for proposals, and more!
