Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We're seeking a Tender & Quotation Specialist for Industry Applications to be a key player in our Power Quality team at Hitachi Energy.
As a Tender & Quotation Specialist, you'll be part of the Green Steel Transition. Your role is to create competitive bids, estimates, and quotations for our innovative solutions. You'll work closely with our internal engineering teams and external partners to ensure that we offer the best solutions to meet our customers' needs around the globe.
The team is located in the Global Center of Competence main office in VÀsterÄs, Sweden. Our role allows you to work from various office locations, including VÀsterÄs, Ludvika, Gothenburg, and Malmö.

How you'll make an impact
- Craft bids that align with Hitachi Energy's policies and Grid & Power Quality Solutions portfolio with focus on STATCOMs for Steel Industry Application, providing efficient and cost-effective options.
- Collaborate and coordinate internal and external stakeholders internationally to ensure timely and accurate tender documents. Your attention to detail will be crucial in presenting compelling proposals.
- Set the tender strategy and manage all aspects of the bid, including commercial, technical, financial and risk management, maintaining Hitachi Energy standards.
- Keep a close eye on market trends and identify customer needs while working closely with our Product Management team to stay ahead of industry developments.
- Bid presentation and technical support during customer meetings.
- Mitigate risks in bids and contracts and lead the Risk Review process.
- Foster positive customer relationships throughout the sales and tendering process.
- Analyze and report on tender outcomes to drive continuous improvement.
Your background

- You have great communication skills and the wish to collaborate in a dynamic and multicultural environment.
- University degree in engineering, finance or similar
- You have previous experience in bid management, sales support, project management or similar.
- If you have knowledge of control systems, power systems, STATCOM technology or semi-conductors it is an advantage but not a requirement.
- Fluency in English is required, both written and spoken to be able to interact with various stakeholders. Swedish or other languages are meritorious.
