What you’ll achieve

As a Test Automation Architect, you will be designing, developing, and implementing automated testing frameworks and strategies that ensure the quality and reliability of software applications.

You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our products by developing and executing automated test strategies, mentoring the testing team, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.

You will:

  • Architect and implement robust, scalable, and reusable test automation frameworks.

  • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing.

  • Define test automation strategies and design patterns for a range of applications, including web, mobile, and API testing.

  • Conduct code reviews and ensure the quality of test scripts and frameworks.

  • Evaluate and recommend test automation tools and technologies that align with the organization's goals.

  • Integrate test automation tools with existing development and testing processes.

  • Define the overall test automation strategy, including identifying the scope of automation and prioritizing test cases.

  • Ensure that automated tests cover functional, regression testing needs.

  • Analyse test results, identify issues, and provide actionable insights to the development team.

  • Ensure that the automation framework is aligned with the overall QA and business goals.

Here’s what you’ll need to succeed:Essential Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in software testing, with at least 4 years in test automation architecture.

  • Proven experience in designing and implementing test automation frameworks.

  • Strong expertise in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, JavaScript).

  • Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Test Complete, Junit, Cypress, etc.

  • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, and Git.

  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs, web services, and experience in testing them.

  • Healthcare Domain Knowledge: Experience in healthcare IT or a related domain is an advantage.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Certified Software Test Automation Architect (CSTAA) or equivalent.

  • ISTQB Test Automation Engineer Certification.
