Job Description

We are on the hunt for a mature professional who will join a newly formed Quality Assurance team dealing with test automation for one of our customers, a leader in remote payments for the financial market.

The ideal engineer will be part of multi-disciplinary and globally distributed Agile/Scrum teams and must be good communicators with customers and other project stakeholders.

We offer a hybrid way of working, which means that you are required to visit the customer's office in Warsaw twice a week for team relationship building purposes. 

Since the customer is part of the financial market you will be the subject of detailed background screening including: education, employment history and criminal record.

Qualifications

Required qualifications:

• 6+ years of work experience with a bachelor’s degree or more than 4 years of work experience with an advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
• 4+ years of experience in coding and testing applications
• Experience working with UI/UX automation with Cypress, Selenium or WebdriverIO, multi-browser testing
• Experience working with API automation with Java-based frameworks - RestAssured, TestNg or JUnit.
• Hands-on experience in test planning, test scenarios creation, test data creation and executing test cases based on business scenarios
• Ability to understand complex enterprise-level systems, various integration points, a decent understanding of all networking layers, a good understanding of software development lifecycle and processes
• Working experience testing web applications, Rest APIs, Java, JavaScript, shell scripting and RDBMS
• Strong communication

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins.
• Working experience debugging and troubleshooting containerized microservices
• Experience with Gatling or JMeter
• Experience with Kafka and Hazelcast is a plus
• Working experience testing ETL, and batch processes using Clover.
