About the Role:
We are seeking a Test Specialist Team Lead to join our Alamo, TN facility. In this key position, you will oversee and perform critical testing processes for power bushings, ensuring products meet industry standards and customer specifications. Your leadership will foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and support Test Technicians in their daily tasks.
- Ensure consistent coverage and operational efficiency in all bushing test labs.
- Ensure all team members adhere to safety protocols and operational guidelines.
- Lead testing operations for various types of power bushings, including bulk, oil-filled, and epoxy condenser bushings with advanced materials and insulators.
- Analyze and report test results or failure modes to the Quality Supervisor and Quality Engineer, ensuring effective communication and resolution.
- Manage the flow of bushings, including RMRs, through the testing processes to meet production and delivery goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation of non-conformities and collaborate on corrective actions to support process improvements.
- Oversee the calibration, inspection, and maintenance of monitoring and measuring devices.
- Ensure testing facilities meet 5S standards for organization and cleanliness.
- Train team members on new equipment, processes, and testing methodologies.
- Build strong relationships with contractors, customers, and internal teams to negotiate changes and influence outcomes when needed.
- Regularly lift and manipulate items up to 35 pounds safely.

Required:
- Associate's degree or two-year certificate in Engineering Technology, Industrial Electricity, Electronics Technology, or related field (minimum 6+ years in manufacturing environment).
- Proficiency in MS Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with SAP ERP is a plus.
- Strong data analysis skills with a solid understanding of testing methodologies and process control plans.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills (written and verbal).
Preferred:
- Experience with tools like SharePoint, Power BI, and SAP.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- 2+ years of experience in a leadership role within manufacturing or electrical testing.
