What You Will Do
As the TPN's Principal/Senior Solutions Architect, you will own the engagement and management of technical relationships with key partners. Many of these will be initiated by our customers and be laser-focused on accelerating and improving scientific use cases across biopharmaceutical R&D, manufacturing, and QA/QC. You will collaborate daily with the vendors of the most innovative lab informatics, scientific instruments, and data applications. You will collaborate on joint value propositions, ideate solutions, and co-develop proofs-of-concept to accelerate and improve scientific outcomes. Additionally, you will proactively seek out partnerships based on your vision of where novel solutions can be achieved as scientific data is re-platformed to the cloud. Your work will educate and inspire the biopharmaceutical industry as to the power of an open and collaborative network of vendors where precisely engineered scientific data flows freely and without restriction. This customer and partner-centric role requires a deep understanding of data management in a scientific domain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical relationship management: Establish and manage technical relationships with key partners. This involves understanding customer requirements, aligning them with the partners' and Tetra's capabilities, and acting as the partners' primary technical point of contact. You will demonstrate the Tetra Scientific Data Cloud during the initial engagement. Additionally, you will organize and lead design reviews to ensure customer needs and partnership goals are met.
- Partnership value proposition and proofs-of-concept design & development: Collaborate to co-create the technical value proposition of the proposed partnership. Based on this understanding, design and propose innovative solutions that meet the needs of joint customers. Additionally, you will co-develop proofs-of-concept to demonstrate the value of the proposed partnership.
- Cross-Functional cCollaboration: You will work closely with internal teams to ensure alignment between customer/partner requirements and Tetra's offerings and gather feedback for continuous improvement; you will contribute to and participate in marketing activities that communicate the value proposition of TetraSscience, TPN, and the power of an open and collaborative network of leading life-science vendors.
- Technology tTrends and iInnovation: Staying up-to-date with the latest cloud and life science technologies, trends, and industry developments, you will explore innovative solutions and emerging technologies that can accelerate the biopharmaceutical industry and Tetra's solutions.
Requirements
What have you done/who you are
- 5+ years of experience in the life-science data ecosystem with a background in solution architecture, software engineering, cloud, web API, or data engineering.
- You should understand how the biopharmaceutical value chain works; understanding the life-science vendor landscape, offerings, and value propositions is a plus.
- Experience in customer/partner-facing product delivery teams.
- Prior experience as a bench or data scientist is a plus.
- You can make sense of ambiguity, define and plan programs in a fast-paced and highly technical organization, and secure buy-in from internal and external stakeholders.
- You are self-motivated, goal-orientated, and can work effectively independently, and as part of a team.
