This position will take part in Elevance Health's hybrid work model which includes remote work and in-office collaboration. Depending on location and proximity to a pulse point (Elevance Health Major Office), will determine hybrid schedule with the highest in-office commitment being 1-2 days in an office per week.

The Threat Manager is responsible for assisting in the oversight of all aspects of the Threat Management/Workplace Violence Prevention Program, ensuring enterprise policies and procedures are followed regarding assessment, response, management and documentation of workplace violence incidents in a global environment.

How You Will Make an Impact:

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Partner closely with regional security teams, Human Resources, Legal and management to assess/manage threats and concerning behaviors.
  • Support the continued development of internal procedures related to workplace violence prevention and response.
  • Conduct internal investigations, including behaviors of concern and claims of violence in the workplace, and document investigative results using case management software.
  • Develop and execute employee training and awareness programs related to workplace violence prevention and emergency response.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Requires BA/BS degree in Criminal Justice, Forensic Psychology, Social Sciences or related field of study and a minimum of 5 years of experience with a major law enforcement, intelligence, public or private sector security organization; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
  • Position must be available to work nights and weekends in support of crisis response efforts.
  • Position must reside in or be able to support U.S. Eastern Time Zone business hours.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite strongly preferred.
  • Certified Threat Manager (CTM) or Certified Protection Professional (CPP) certification, previous experience overseeing a global workplace violence prevention program, and experience working in a behavioral health setting strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communicator with highly-developed interpersonal skills.
  • Master's degree preferred in related field.
  • Previous experience working within a global workplace violence prevention program preferred.
  • Previous experience using structured professional judgement tools is preferred.
  • Experience working in a behavioral health setting preferred.

For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $82,720 to $148,896
