Position Highlights:

• Position: Trauma Acute Care Surgeon
• Location: Multiple Chicago Northern Suburbs

A Brief Overview:

You will join a team of 28 partners in the multispecialty General Surgery Division, specifically with 9 surgeons dedicated to acute care/trauma services. The division is also comprised of fellowship trained surgeons in colorectal, minimally invasive, bariatric, and hepatobiliary subspecialties.

Responsibilities include:

• Level 1 Trauma Center at Evanston Hospital [in house]
• Level II Trauma coverage at Highland Park Hospital and Glenbrook Hospital [home]
• ICU coverage for our surgical patients at Evanston Hospital and Skokie Hospital [AM]
• Emergency general surgery at Evanston Hospital, Highland Park Hospital and Glenbrook Hospital [home]
• Works with University of Chicago Residents at Evanston and 24 hour Physician Assistant coverage at all hospitals.
• Teaching opportunities and an academic appointment are available for interested and qualified candidates.
• Research opportunities are available for interested and qualified candidates.

What you will need:

• MD/DO
• IL Medical license or pending approval
• DEA license
• BC/BE
