- Certification Details
- Required Certifications: BLS, Licensed PT
- Job Details
- This is mostly an outpatient based position, with some inpatient swing beds and nursing home patients.
- It covers 2 facilities Shelby and Cut Bank about 20 minutes apart.
- Each hospital has about 20 beds.
- Shelby has a regular census of 3-5 inpatients, Cut Bank 1-2 inpatients.
- Shelby has an attached nursing home, Cut Bank does not have one.
- It’s a small rural area with a lot of outdoor activity.
- We are close to East Glacier National Park and Canada.
- Job Requirements
- Will you accept a traveler with 1-year experience? At least 1 year of PT experience
- Will you accept a first-time traveler? Upon review
- BLS, Licensed PT
- Prior PT experience
- Schedule Information
- Weekend rotation: Every other weekend?
- Call? If so, what is that schedule?
- Holiday Expectations:
- Approval of time off: Can we approve time off on your behalf, or would you like all requests sent to you?
- Shift times: typically schedule 4 10 hour days.
- Our non-eval appts are 45 min, I think evals are 75-90 minutes.
- Unit Specific Information
- Support on the Unit: each inpatient setting has RN or LPN and CNA's.
- We don’t have a COTA for outpatient support
- Technology/Equipment: EMR: Meditech and WebPT
- Floating: If yes, where? None
- Orientation (how many shifts): we don’t have a formal orientation other than what HR provides, but we do have an OT in another facility nearby that can orient to the EMR
