Urgent Care Physician CONTRACT Location(s)- Renton| Covington| Maple Valley

Valley Medical Center (VMC) is actively recruiting contract Urgent Care Physicians to join our area clinics in our collaborative network where you will have easy access to system-wide support as you work alongside a highly motivated and skilled Urgent Care team. We provide patient-centered, team-based care to a diverse population of patients.

This is NOT a travel assignment

About the position:

• Clinic Hours – Open 7 days/week (8a – 8p M-F, 8a-4p Sa-Su)
• General Schedule – 12-hours shifts Monday – Friday; weekends 8-hour shifts; every other weekend (2/month).
• Average # of patients seen per day 25-30 average/peak Flu/Cold slightly higher (30-35)
• Support staff- average 3 PSRs per shift, 5 MAs, 3 Providers
• Practitioners- At least one physician is staffed with the APPs (ARNP/PAs) per shift
• 2-3 shifts per week strongly preferred
• BE/BC in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Emergency Medicine
• Ability to obtain medical professional license in the State of WA and DEA with full prescriptive authority
• Two years of urgent care experience strongly preferred
