What you'll do...

The Intrusion Analyst role serves as the frontline in the identification and response to cyber security incidents, triaging security alerts and conducting initial investigations to determine appropriate response actions.

Our team works closely with our US stores and eCommerce business to better serve customers by empowering team members, stores, and merchants with technological innovation. From groceries and entertainment to sporting goods and crafts, Walmart U.S. offers an extensive selection that our customers value, whether they shop online at Walmart.com, through one of our mobile apps, or in-store. Focus areas include customers, stores and employees, in-store service, merchant tools, merchant data science, and search and personalization.

What you'll do:

• Identify, and respond to cybersecurity threats.
• Perform analysis to identify suspicious activities and behaviors.
• Work with other stakeholder in Incident Management and other parts of the organization to minimize impact to normal business operations.
• Create job related documentation and processes.
• Train and develop less knowledgeable peers.

What you'll bring:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to drive collaboration across multiple teams and shifts.
• An understanding of relevant security industry trends, technologies, and threat actor tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP's).
• A passion for learning and building from experience to develop tools that will inhibit threat actors and their methods.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...

Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, information systems, cybersecurity or related area and 2years' experience in intrusion analysis or related area at a technology, retail, or data-driven company.

Option 2: 4 years' experience in intrusion analysis or related area at a technology, retail, or data-driven company.

Certification in Security+, Network+, GISF, CISA ,CISSP, CCSP, or GCIH, Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related area, We value candidates with a background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.
