UX Designer

We’re looking for a well-rounded UX Designer to join the zSecurity and Compliance team. In this role you will be responsible for shaping user experiences and design strategy to create the best solutions for data security threat detection cybersecurity automation and more.

You’ll work directly with a cross-functional team to tackle complex business challenges alongside other creators and strategists. You have a passion to learn more about our technology stack to improve the client experience. You are a systematic thinker able to see the big picture but also enjoy diving deep into important details.

Your Role and Responsibilities

• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced collaborative agile environment while producing great design work on tight deadlines
• The ability to explore ideas persuade others and build consensus on fast-moving projects with varying degrees of ambiguity
• Self-motivation; ability to produce results both independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and active listening skills with an ability to build and develop close trusting relationships
• Experience using multiple approaches including analytics and user research to drive decisions and develop product iterations
• Ability to distil and reframe problems then define a framework for resolution generating clear elegant solutions for complex challenges
• Systems thinking; ability to step back and see a project’s larger ecosystem with a focus on solutions that improve not just one feature but the entire user flow
• Demonstrated behaviours attitudes actions and judgments that inspire employees to follow and other leaders to trust

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 5+ years professional experience in product design with a focus on both UX/UI design
• Expertise in design thinking/human-centered design
• Proven track record of working design projects from concept to completion.
• Strong understanding of usability principles and best practices in web and mobile design.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Portfolio showcasing a range of projects that demonstrate your design process research methodologies and problem-solving skills.
• In-depth knowledge and experience within a relevant design discipline (User Research User-Experience Design Visual Design Interaction Design)
• Strong interest in complex technical systems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills (i.e. storytelling and documentation)
• Experience using agile principles towards the delivery of product
• Develop mid-level literacy in AI
• Proficiency with design and research tools such as Figma Adobe Suite Mural Airtable Keynote research survey tools and other design software
