We are looking for a talented and strategic UX Manager with a demonstrated ability to lead beginning-to-end research and design processes within our product organization. In this role, you will drive standards and innovation around research, user behavior and interaction, as well as visual design across TCP Software’s diverse workforce management digital product and hardware portfolio. This position will play a key role in the success of our products and our company.Â
As a UX Manager, you will:
- Manage staff around hiring, motivation, delivery, performance, career development, teambuilding and salary administration
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholder groups that include Product Managers, Product Owners, Engineers, Customer Support, Marketing and a customer base across diverse market verticals
- Identify, build and leverage leadership relationships to expand the user experience practice at large to support the organizations growth
- Lead or assist with user interviews, user testing, analyzing and optimizing workflows and interactions as needed to deliver high-quality insights and artifacts
- Drive design solutions to be measurable and identify success metrics that will be used to hold performance to account
- Maintain a balance between consistent iterations of customer feedback and high-level thinking to transform experiences and expectations
- Establish and enforce design systems that maintains quality, consistency, accessibility
You are a strong fit for this role if you have:
- Creative and passionate about making a difference with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Combination of outgoing, highly organized, and persistent personality with the ability to lead a team to handle uncertainty and change
- Strong verbal and written communication skills that can be highly persuasive, easily understood and actioned onÂ
- Enterprise level platform design experience and able to integrate cross-platform experiencesÂ
- Knowledge of software development processes, especially Agile
- Expert knowledge of research practices and your design craft along with digital tools like Figma and Microsoft-centric file repositories
- Comprehensive understanding of modern application frameworks, front end technology and components as well as API and technical considerations
- Â 8+ years of experience in UX/UI design, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role
