The Role

As a UX Researcher at Kaizen Gaming, you will be at the helm, steering the future of our products by delivering an unparalleled user experience that cultivates loyalty, value, and delight. With your expert research skills, you will delve deep into the user experience of our products, comprehending the intricate user scenarios, and catering to the business needs of our customers. Your role is pivotal in infusing our product with customer and product insights, significantly influencing the product vision and strategy. You will collaborate closely with product managers, product owners, designers, and engineers to craft elegant, user-friendly, and successful products.


Your expertise will inspire those around you to gain a deeper understanding of our customers, sparking enthusiasm for our products and features. In this role, you will play a critical part in shaping, nurturing, and expanding our product while mentoring our team members. You will take charge of developing the research strategy and push the boundaries of conventional methodologies, introducing new, innovative processes for conducting UX research. Your deep understanding of human behavior and technology will empower you to drive actionable insights and guide product decisions.


What you'll bring:


  • Customer Advocacy: As the voice of the customer, you'll have a profound understanding of user needs and product pain points. Your insights will guide the product team in prioritizing features and refining the user experience.
  • Collaborative Spirit: You'll work hand-in-hand with designers, product managers, and product owners, identifying customer perceptions, defining key use scenarios, and collaborating on the development of new or improved product concepts.
  • Influential Leadership: Your voice will be pivotal in decisions regarding user experience priorities for our platform and products. As a thought leader, you'll evangelize customer and product needs within our company.
  • Educational Impact: Known for your exceptional research skills, you'll share best practices, disseminate metrics, and serve as a mentor, elevating the team's understanding and approach to UX.
  • Actionable Insights: Your expertise in conducting continuous usability testing, along with other methods, ensures that you deliver data that matters most, leading to actionable insights.
  • Methodological Expertise: With your experience, you'll navigate through a broad range of methodologies, constructing research toolkits and synthesizing qualitative and quantitative data into actionable insights.
  • Engaging Presentation: Your ability to deliver research findings and recommendations in engaging, thought-provoking layouts sets you apart.
  • Dynamic Growth: Thriving in a rapidly scaling organization, you know how to collect inputs and turn them into measurable outputs, driving continuous improvement.


Qualifications:


  • Master's degree in Psychology, Human-Centered Design, Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology, or a related field.
  • At least 5+ years of experience in UX research, with a proven track record in digital products.
  • Exceptional end-to-end qualitative and quantitative research skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A role model in professionalism, with high standards of excellence and integrity.
  • Recognized ability to lead and enhance our UX maturity.
  • Extensive experience working closely with Design, Product, and Engineering teams, integrating and implementing research recommendations.
